It was a nice summer day. What better time is there to relax, and enjoy the sun?

Well, that's what Popeye the Sailor Man, and his girl Olive Oyl had in mind. They were taking a nice sailing trip across the sea. Wimpy is with them, as usual, doing nothing but chomping down on some burgers. Popeye was helping grill the meat for his lazy friend.

Meanwhile, over at a nearby island called Kame House, the Saiyan warrior Son Goku is training alongside Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha. He wants to help them get stronger since he reached a power beyond that of even a Super Saiyan God. Goku then sensed something.

"What is that?" asked Goku.

"What do you mea-" Krillin and the rest of them sensed the same thing.

"Whoa. Where is that power coming from?" asked Tien.

"Maybe Beerus and Whis are here?" thought Yamcha.

"If it were them, we wouldn't be able to sense them." responded Tien. "Though that power is..... amazing"

Goku then sniffed his nose.

"Hey Guys!" blurted out Kakarot. "Whatever it is, they have something good cooking too!"

"Uh.... Goku." said Krillin in an attempt to stop him.  "Aren't you supposed to be helping Chi-Chi and Bulma find Goten and Trunks-"

Goku flew off, ready to see what was in store.

Back on the boat, several more hamburgers have been made, as Wimpy continues to eat them. Popeye is relaxing on a chair, next to his sweetheart. When suddenly, something came flying toward the boat. It stopped, just hovering above the boat, revealing itself to be a man with spiky, black hair and an orange gi.

"WOAH! Where di'ja come from?" responded the Sailor to this sight before him.

"This can't be right..." said Goku. "The immense power seems to be coming from you..."

He descends to the deck.

"But you don't look the part."

Popeye wasn't to thrilled about his new guest and his early judgements.

"Hey! Who d'ya think you are. Just waltzin on my boat and callin me weak." said the angry sailor, almost without moving his mouth at all.

"Well." said Goku scratching the back of his head. "We could fight if you want to, but I won't go easy on you."

"Fine. If it will getcha outta here." said the Sailor mumbling.

"First we have to dock the boat and-"

Suddenly Goku put his hand on Popeye's shoulder. Before the sailor could react, he put two fingers to his forehead, and disappeared. Olive Oyl sat there confused, and Wimpy was just glad no one took his burger.

The Saiyan suddenly reappeared, and took his burger. He vanished again. Wimpy was depressed for the rest of the day.

Meanwhile, Popeye was at a field, confused as to what is going on. Goku reappeared on the battlefield, already eaten half of the burger.

"You ready?" said Goku as he wolfed down the second half of the burger.

"Well blow me down!" said the Sailor. "I dint know someone else liked me burgers." he pulled up his sleeve.

"Dont disappoint me sonny."

Popeye runs in and delivers a flurry of punches, Goku blocking them with one hand as he yawns with the other. Popeye sneaks an uppercut that launches the Saiyan onto the air.

"Wow." thought Goku. "I can feel plenty of power through that punch. Nothing I can't handle though."

He vanishes.

"Hey sonny, whered ja go?"

He appeared behind Popeye and delivered a kick in the back that sent him flying. Popeye got back up as Goku fires a bunch of ki blasts into his general direction. Popeye redirects them just by blowing into his pipe. Goku quickly blocks as the ki blasts damage him a bit, as well as creating a large cloud of dust. He then heard a high pitched squeel.... as if something was burning.

Suddenly, Popeye came in quicker than Goku had anticipated by using his pipe to fly as he delivers a punch square into the saiyan's face. Popeye continues flying through rocks upon rocks, hills upon hills, with Goku feeling the full force of being in between Popeye's fist and a hard place. Goku thought of an idea quickly.

"Solar Flare"

A blinding light had eclipsed the area, momentarily blinding Popeye. Goku uses this opportunity to deliver a series of punches, ending with a kick that launches the sailor sky high. He then flies up, grabbing Popeye by the legs. Then proceeding to spin him around and then throw him into a nearby mountain with enough force to turn it into a crater. Goku flies down to finish the fight, but he didn't realize that Popeye was down there. Winding up a punch behind the thick clouds of smoke. Goku flies directly into the punch, causing him to fly through several nearby mountains.

A blue light began to glow in the distance, and suddenly, Popeye felt uneasy. This was justified since Goku had teleported back, with glowing blue hair.

"You're pretty good." said Goku. "But let's see you deal with a power beyond a Super Saiyan God!"

Popeye began to brush himself off. "Ya see none of that makes any sense, but I guess I'll play along." he mumbles mostly to himself.

Goku teleports back. He begins to hold a yellow disk of ki up in the air with his hand.

"Destructo Disk!" Goku then throws the disc toward Popeye. The Sailor Man responds by catching it, and crushing it. While he was doing this, however, Goku went behind Popeye and kicked him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. Goku teleports away from the Sailor, holding back his hands.

"KA-"

Popeye opens his eyes, looking behind him to see the situation he is in.

"ME-"

Popeye feels around his body, looking for something.

"HA-"

Popeye manages to find the thing he was looking for.

"ME-"

Popeye pulled out a can of spin-

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Before he knew it, Popeye had been engulfed by the ki energy.

K.O-

Suddenly, a hand stuck out of the beam, proceeding to rip those two letters off of the page.

"Listen here, sonny. I'm ain'ts done yet."

Popeye had eaten his spinach. Then, the entire Kamehameha beam had been swallowed up, just by Popeye sucking it in with his pipe. Popeye stood, emanating an aura similar to a Super Saiyan.

"WHA!?" said the shocked Goku. "How did you do that!?"

"It's called a healthy diet sonny." said Popeye approaching his opponent. "Something you don't have."

Popeye lunges in, unleashing a flurry of punches that would make any anime blush, proceeding to sucker punch Goku straight into the ground.

Popeye teleports high above.

"Let's give this here a try." He holds his hands back.

"Um... uh let's see. KAAAAAAA-"

Popeye's hands began to glow a blue color.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEE-"

Popeye had somehow figured out how to manipulate ki.

"HAAAAAAAAAAA-"

Goku laid there, astonished.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"

Goku closed his eyes, and braced himself.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Goku was engulfed by the familiar attack.

Goku, barely conscious, picked himself up. Popeye descended back down.

"Wow." said Goku. "I'm sorry for underestimating you. That was a good fight."

"You ain't too bad yourself sonny" said the proud Sailor.

"What's your secret?"

Popeye cleared his throat. He began to sing.

I'm Popeye the sailor man

I yam what I yam

and that's all I yam

I'm Popeye the sailor man."

He blows his pipe after his singing.

"Now let's go'n give ya sommore of those burgers." said Popeye to Goku.

"Oh Boy! I'm starved." said Goku, excited.

Goku grabs onto Popeye again and teleports them back to the boat.
