Mewtwo VS. Silver the Hedgehog ONE MINUTE MELEE

The future. What does it hold? Many people look forward to it, always assuming it's good. At any moment, before you know it, your entire world can change. Enter Silver the Hedgehog. He has the unfortunate displeasure of living in a world that was destroyed by Iblis, the Flames of Disaster. Silver was flying around the ruined city, scouting ways to stop Iblis when.

He notices something in the distance, a grey animal-like creature in the distance. He flies over to see what it is when-

"Why?"

"Huh?" responded Silver as he stopped his flight path.  The being wasn't even looking at him, and Silver didn't even think he was moving his mouth.

"Why did you stop your current goals because of your own curiosity?"

"What are you?!"

"I am Mewtwo.", said the creature, who was indeed talking to him telepathically.  "I am a being from another world, where I am dubbed a Pokemon. I am the strongest of them."

"Another World!?" said Silver trying to figure this out. "But why are you here?"

"I am trying to figure that out myself." said the Pokemon. He turned around to finally take a good look at the hedgehog. "You.... you are not a human?"

"No. I'm not. I am a Hedgehog on a mission to protect my world-"

"Then do not fret, hedgehog. This world is not of my concern." Mewtwo then took a closer look at the destroyed city. "You.... said you are on a mission to protect this world?"

"Yeah. I need to stop the destruction of this world caused by a monster called Iblis."

"Well then your situation seems rather hopeless." Mewtwo held his head down. Silver started feeling hurt by the Pokemon's pessimistic comment.

"It seems like something out of your league-"

Suddenly, a car was flying toward the scene. Mewtwo teleported behind Silver, as if he saw that one coming.

"That was a cute trick, trying to catch me off guard." Mewtwo said while his eyes were still shut. "I could tell that you had telekinetic powers similar to my own."

Silver was increasingly growing furious.

"Fine. Let me show you my power. Fueled by the hope that this world still has."

"Hope?" said Mewtwo as he opened his eyes. "You mean that pitiful sense of denial that only worthless lower lives have?" Mewtwo scoffs to the hedgehog. "Fine, you little rodent. I'll play along."

Silver turns to face his opponent.

Mewtwo closes his eye, and then quickly opens them again. With the swing of his arm, Silver starts the match by creating a psychic wave that pushes Mewtwo back. The wave knocks Mewtwo into a building. Silver picks up another car to throw at the Pokemon when he is suddenly hit by Future Sight, which Mewtwo was unleashing at the beginning. Silver was stunned thanks to the attack, leading Mewtwo to teleport above Silver and stomp him down to the ground.

However, as Silver charges his fist with psychokinetic energy, he punches the ground. This creates a shockwave that stuns Mewtwo. Silver uses this moment to grab Mewtwo from a distance, and throw him to the ground. As Mewtwo arises, he uses disable. Silver uses Psycho Shock.

But it failed.

Silver curls up into a ball and spin dashes toward the Pokemon. Mewtwo holds up a barrier that stops Silver in his tracks. He then grabs the hedgehog with his psychic powers, and gives a strange glare at him.

"Insolent little rat!"

Mewtwo then throws Silver behind him into a building that had dilapidated over time thanks to Iblis's actions.



Suddenly beams of psychic knifes are thrown at Mewtwo. While most of them were flying towards Mewtwo, a few of them turned back around. This was because Mewtwo had used Confusion on Silver right before he threw him into the building. Mewtwo teleports away from the attack as Silver flies out of the building.

Silver scouts the city for his opponent. Silver finds Mewtwo, who is charging power for a dark purple orb of energy. Silver throws some more psychic knifes at Mewtwo, who halts his charging to teleport behind the hedgehog. However, Silver had anticipated the teleportation this time. He grabbed him with his psychic powers.

"It's no use!"

Silver aims Mewtwo into another nearby building.

"Take THIS!"

The Pokemon is thrown forward, and crashes into the building. Mewtwo flies out, as calm as ever. Silver throws another car at Mewtwo, however this time Mewtwo reflects it back. The car hits Silver and he crashes into the road below. Mewtwo turns his back on his opponent, displaying his usual arrogance. Silver flies toward the Pokemon, however Mewtwo saw this coming. Before Silver could attack, Mewtwo swats him with his tail.

As Silver gathers himself, Mewtwo uses the opportunity to unleash a Shadow Ball, which he charged earlier. The attack sends Silver backwards by a few hundred feet.

Mewtwo floats slowly to the weakened hedgehog.

"Where is your hope now?" scoffed Mewtwo. "You can not even handle me, let alone the power that brought your world to ruins."

Silver, desperate and determined grabbed Mewtwo with his weakening strength.

"It's.... no... use."

"Take....THIS!"

Silver throws down Mewtwo with all of his might. Silver then gathers debris from all over the city. The debris forms together to create a meteor sized ball. He holds it high. Mewtwo tries to react, but-

"It's no use!"

Mewtwo is held in place.

"THIS WILL END IT!"

Silver throws the giant meteor down. Mewtwo is unable to react and is crushed. 

*End Music

"I....did....it."

Silver looks down at the pile, and sighs. All of his energy was worn out, but he managed to pull a victory. He was about to rest when.

A sinister laugh is heard.



Suddenly, Mewtwo flies straight out of the debris, spawning a new form. His tail looked like it had been moved onto his head, giving his look that was a tad goofy. However, he now has a growth in power. This.

Was Mega Mewtwo Y.

"Wha...What!?" exclaimed Silver. "H-How did you survive that?"

"You have proven yourself quite formidable, hedgehog." said Mewtwo. "But the power of Mega Evolution will not be taken lightly."

Mewtwo fires a giant orb that flies through Silver. At first, the hedgehog was confused and scared about what was going one. However, he suddenly felt a splitting headache.

"ACK!" said Silver. He was holding his head in excruciating pain. "What's happening?"

"Psystrike. Your mind is being attacked directly" stated Mewtwo.

Mewtwo grabbed Silver, and threw him down to the ground.

Silver, weakened and defeated, fell to the ground.

Mewtwo descends to the ground to look upon his fallen opponent.

"Hope does not get you anyway in your miserable life." said Mewtwo to the barely conscious hedgehog. "What matters is your power." Mewtwo hold up his had, charging a dark energy. "You have failed to best me in combat."

Mewtwo hesitates.

"However, you have proven yourself formidable." Mewtwo puts his hand down. "You seem to be on your way to finding and fulfilling your purpose." Mewtwo looks away from his opponenet. "Farther than me. Built by humans, with no reasons for existing. Nothing to fulfill."

Mewtwo looks back at Silver. "Because of that, I have decided that your life is worth living."

Mewtwo prepare to fly off. "Farewell and good luck..... Silver the Hedgehog."

Mewtwo flies off.

"Thank....you...." mutters Silver.

The Hedgehog fell unconscious.
